This Colour 9MP USB-3 camera is designed for use as an advanced astrophotography camera incorporating cooled, high-resolution Sony Exmoor CMOS sensors for super-high sensitivity. It features ultra-low noise and a smart cooling structure to ensure efficient heat radiation and to avoid moisture accumulation, which gives the camera exposure times of up to 1 hour. The cooling system includes a controllable integrated two-stage Peltier TE-cooling system with a controllable fan allowing the sensor to be cooled by as much as 42 degrees C below ambient, so a working temperature could be established in as little as 5 minutes depending on the conditions. This camera has a standard M42 photographic mount. Included in the package is the famous ToupSky fully featured software for astrophotography.

The housing is high-quality Aluminium CNC which incorporates thermal transfer properties to dissipate heat from the sensor. Other features include real-time 8/12/14/16bit depth switch(depending on sensor) and a host of software utilities such as Windows/Linux/macOS/Android multiple platform SDK(Native C/C++, C#/VB.NET, Python, Java, DirectShow, Twain, etc.
